Tuesday, September 1, 2009 :: Day Away Workshop
Join us at Oak Hall School in Gainesville for our annual Day Away Workshop. Featuring former yearbook Adviser-of-the-Year Paul Ender, the sessions features an emphasis on theme, coverage and design for staffs to take back and apply to their books, and includes individual staff sessions with Mr. Ender. The workshop is a great way to get a dose of creative juice that lasts the rest of the year. Check in starts at 8:30. Sessions will begin at 9:00 am and finish at 1:30. Contact Steven or Thomas to register or for more information. Cost is $15.00 per staff member. A Tallahassee date and location will be announced shortly.
Monday, July 20, 2009 - Wednesday, July 22, 2009 :: Peace, Love, Yearbook Summer Workshop
Our annual summer workshop will be held at Oak Hall School. This three day event provides schools and staffs the opportunity to start the school year out strong. Sessions will cover design, yearbook essentials, photography, coverage, theme, organization and much more. Professional graphic artists will be available to help design covers and yearbook gurus will be guiding staffs and developing themes. Thursday, March 19, 2009 - Saturday, March 21, 2009 :: Say What! Plant Trip
Join us for our annual plant trip to Charlotte, NC. Yearbook advisers and staff members will have the chance to meet with your customer service adviser, talk with plant artists about next year’s cover and theme, and take a behind the scenes tour of the Charlotte plant. See Komori presses, rows upon rows of image-enhancement computers, printing plates, sewing machines and a host of other publishing machinery. Tuesday, Septemeber 9, 2008 :: Day-Away Workshop
Hosted by Oak Hall School in Gainesville and featuring Herff Jones Special Consultant Paul Ender, the Day Away Workshop will focus on designs and design trends. Come with your ideas and work with Paul to tweak and improve them. Cost is $15.00 per attendee. Please email Steven or Thomas to register or with questions. Sign in will be from 8:30 to 9:00 am. The workshop will end at approximately 1:30 pm.
Saturday, September 13, 2008 :: Adviser-only Technology Day
Hosted by Fort Clarke Middle School in Gainesville on a non-football Saturday, this workshop will feature training on eDesign, HJ Planner, Clique, InDesign, YBAccess, ePage, eProof, eService and HJ Index Builder. Free to new and experienced advisers alike!
